Tuhon Ray Dionaldo – Basic Close Quarters – Sumbrada

During the 11th FMA World Festivals 2026 in Boracay, Philippines, Tuhon Ray Dionlado taught several lessons.

This first lesson had “Basic close quarters: Sumbrada” as the topic. The second lesson is with the knife.

Tuhon Ray leads you throug the why and how of his Sumbrada and then gets into the details of his concept using the live hand, bob and weave, strikes, blocks, bunting and breaks. All techniques are are demonstrated in great detail so you can learn them best.
