Description
Is there any effective gun defence?
If someone aims his gun on you on short distance and shots immediately there is no chance to prevent or defende yourself.
But if the aggressor hesitates only one or two seconds – e.g. to say something to you – you have got a realistic chance to disarm the aggressor within some seconds.
Short distance means one or two meters between you and the weapon.
In this vidoe we want to show you the disarming techniques of Krav Maga Street Defence.
The Israeli disarming techniques of Krav Maga are approved all around the world by police, special forces, military and bodyguards.
So if you want to enhance your chances in situations, when guns are used against you, this video it the right one for you!

The author:
Michael Rüppel
is Chief Instructor of Krav Maga Street Defense.
Michael Rüppel has been working in the security sector since 1992 and has countless experiences as a bodyguard (personal security).
Among them were people like Dr. Ben Wieder, Jean-Claude van Damme, Wolfgang Joop, Herbert Grönemeier, Diana Bekirovic, Marius Müller-Westernhagen and many more.
Since 1998 he has been involved with the Krav Maga and the Israeli Martial Arts. He was one of the first Krav Maga instructors in Germany in 1999. Certified by Amnon Maor.
As an experienced Krav Maga trainer, he also trains psychological rules of conduct and is well versed in criminal law. He conveys his knowledge sympathetically. His first instructor in Krav Maga was Amnon Maor. This was chief instructor of the Israeli Border Police special forces and led extremely dangerous missions even in hostile territory.
Michael Rüppel developed his own variant of the official Krav Maga because parts of this system were too sporty for him and not effective enough for the street fight. Above all, his techniques in the area of firearms, knives, ground combat and self-defense made him known outside of Germany. Today he teaches seminars around the world, and he is particularly proud of giving Krav Maga seminars in the motherland of Krav Maga, Israel.
On 17.12.2009 he was given a special honor. He was replaced by Dr. Dennis Hannover, who is a close friend and teacher, was inducted into the Museum of History of Israeli Martial Arts for his contributions to Israeli martial arts and understanding with Israel. His painting now adorns the museum’s honor board together with important figures of the Israeli Martial Arts.
In 2010 he was once again in Israel with Dr. Dennis Hanover to learn from him his system, the Dennis Survival Ju-Jitsu. After spending more than 2 weeks in Israel, which was associated with daily hard training, Chief Instructor Michael Rüppel successfully passed his Dennis Survival Ju-Jitsu Instructor exam. Dennis Hanover awarded the Black Belt 3rd Dan in Dennis Survival Ju-Jitsu.
He is now an instructor in two of the best Israeli combat and self-defense systems.
Michael Rüppel is constantly evolving as he wants to learn the full range of Israeli Martial Arts.
His motto is “quality instead of quantity”.
