“The Martial Arts-Kingdom”
A boy asserts himself against the king.
It’s a hard road… but martial arts are on his side!

In a typical battle, the kingdom of Mayo (mother) and Tata (father) get into a fight. The Mayo kingdom becomes victorious due to the efforts of the immigrant karate boy who invades the kingdom with his exotic karate skills that he wants to pass on to all the boys.
The boy’s abilities do not suit the village chief, as he sees this as violent. During one of the training sessions, the karate boy defeats one of the other boys to the point of fainting. One of the witnesses reports the karate boy to the king because he has demonstrated abilities perceived as violent.
The angry king wants to burn the boy’s mother to punish the boy according to African tradition!
Will he realize his plan?
Can the Karate Kid convince the king and gain his trust or will he fail?

Background about the film:
This is a project to empower African children and young people who are passionate about acting and martial arts. Many young people in the African country of Zambia are now vulnerable to drug abuse, crime and early marriages. However, some of them have found their passion for the martial arts. Francis Mulenga, a Zambian youth educator, videographer/talent promoter and youth activist, has written a script for a short martial arts-oriented film. In the screenplay, he has interwoven the story of a boy with deep-rooted African traditions. The aim of the film is to generate the interest of young people in martial arts as a sport, self-defense, martial arts and life skills.
This is a project to empower African children and young people who are passionate about acting and martial arts. Many young people in the African country of Zambia today are susceptible to drug abuse, He believes that through this film many young people can be inspired for the martial arts and thus get a goal in their lives that they do not resort to drugs and are prevented from early marriages. This is episode 1 we open that if this episode is successful, more episodes can be produced. Whoever buys the film supports the other episodes. The money raised by the sale will be passed on to Francis Mulenga so that he can continue this project with further episodes.
