This is part 1 of 3 videos, that GM Datu Dieter Kn\u00fcttel recorded during his seminar in Vancouver, Canada in June 2025.<\/p>\n

In this video, GM Datu Dieter Kn\u00fcttel gives an introduction to the fundamentals of Modern Arnis, as it is practized in the German Arnis Association, DAV. The concepts, principles and techniques of striking, twirling, blocking, counterattacking and aspects of the 1str disarming series are explained and demonstrated in great detail.<\/p>\n

This is a great video if you are interested in Modern Arnis and want to get a good foundation in Modern Arnis.<\/p>\n

This is part 2 of 3 vid<\/span>e<\/span>os, that GM Datu Dieter Kn\u00fcttel recorded during his seminar in Vancouver, Canada in June 2025.<\/span><\/p>\n

In this video, GM Datu Dieter Kn\u00fcttel teaches the reactive knife system. A method, that utilizes only a few movements to defend against the different angles of attack.\u00a0All of the movements always lead to the transition position, from where further techniques of disarming, controlling or throwing can be executed.<\/p>\n

This is part 3 of 3 videos, that GM Datu Dieter Kn\u00fcttel recorded during his seminar in Vancouver, Canada in June 2025.<\/p>\n

In this video, GM Datu Dieter Kn\u00fcttel teaches empty hand\u00a0 selfdefense against weapons, here against stick and knife attacks.
\nAgainst the stick, several disarming, locking and takedown techniques are demonstrated and taught in great detail.<\/p>\n

Very interesting are the parts, where effective hair pulling is explained and also verbal selfdefense is something, that one shoud know about.<\/p>\n

The knife part is a continuation form the reavtive knife system, where more disarms and takeowns are demonstrated and taught from the tranisiton position, that was explained in the 2nd videos from the Vacouver seminar 2025.<\/p>\n

This is a great video to get new techniques and concepts for the defense against weapons.<\/p>\n
